Since 1948, Newick's Seafood Restaurants have been New England's favorite name for Seafood! But the fact is, there's so much more to Newick's than our name! The story of Newick's Restaurants began over 60 years ago along the shore of Great Bay and the New Hampshire seacoast.

Jack Newick was following his family's tradition, fishing the plentiful waters of his own backyard. In those days, the family kept busy lobstering and selling their catch to restaurants and markets up and down the coast. What they didn't sell they cooked in the family kitchen and sold at a little roadside stand. So many people enjoyed the Newick family's fresh-cooked seafood that Jack decided to build a restaurant and fish market. That is how it all began.
